Snowgate in Chicago Land!

My husband, Steve, didn't have to work on Wednesday but he did get to play in the snow with his trusty snow blower. Notice all of the other men playing with their snow blowers because men love their machines! This video shows how our little corner of the world looked after the blizzard finished gifting us with about 18-20 inches of snow.

Watch for the squirrel at the base of the bird feeder in our backyard diving in and out of the snow looking for seeds on the ground. The lucky squirrel in the feeder won the duel for a place at the top. Steve was disappointed he didn't get the battle for top squirrel on video. Sigh...he wasn't fast enough with his Flip video camera and the fight was finished by the time he started shooting video.
